Fishing Bay Yacht Club in Deltaville, VA, held their 78th Annual One Design Regatta the weekend of 8/12-8/13/2017, with 20 boats entered in the Flying Scot division. Here are some photos of the Flying Scot winners from the event with a little explation from Julie Ann Walsh:

Another wonderful Saratoga Flying Scot Invitational is in the books. We had two great days of racing and loads of fun visiting with old friends and new friends. We had beautiful weather in the high 70's and mostly light air both days. But we had enough wind to get in 4 races on Saturday and 2 on Sunday (one less race for the Challengers), with a mixture of Windward-Leeward and Triangle courses, keeping the divisions on different courses in each race. We all know how great it is to see younger sailors in our boats! Well, the US Sailing Chubb US Junior Championships start Monday August 7 and run through Friday August 11, 2017, at Toms River Yacht Club in Toms River, NJ. One of the 3 boats being sailed will be Flying Scots, with Junior teams going three up. It's great to see the class promoting the sport for Junior sailors, and there will be 10 teams racing Flying Scots in the event!
