The Clinton Lake Sailing Association is a sailing club located in Central Illinois between Bloomington-Normal, Champaign-Urbana, and Decatur.  The club features a large outdoor pavilion, 2 ramps, and a small dock with a large grass area for mast-up storage.  When it comes to amenities, CLSA is very rustic and simple relative to most sailing clubs you'll see when traveling to regattas.  There is no indoor clubhouse.  If you don't like using our porta potty you will need to walk a couple hundred yards to the marina building.  In recent years we added...

Congratulations to Paul Foerster with crew Carrie and Carl Foerster on winning the 48th Flying Scot Fleet 23 Open House Regatta and Southwest District Championships. We were thrilled to welcome 15 boats from out of town, including boats from Tennessee, Alabama, Illinois, Louisiana, Arkansas, and probably a couple others I am forgetting. 2021 Capital District Championship

Greater Richmond Sailing Association (GRSA) Fleet 155 hosted the Capital District Championship Regatta October 2-3.  Eight Scots registered for 2 days of racing on Swift Creek Reservoir.  Friday evening, Regatta PRO Jerry Thompson facilitated a racing rules seminar for race participants and GRSA members with emphasis on Right of Way, Keeping Clear, and Proper Course.
