Zeke Horowitz and Brian Hayes from North Sails will be serving coffee and light refreshments each morning from 8:30 - 9:30 in the launch area. Additionally, at 8:30 they will do a morning "Tip of the Day" at the tent. This will be an informal chance for them to share thoughts on what to expect on the water that day and for folks to ask questions. Continue Reading...Despite a very iffy weekend weather forecast, 19 Flying Scot crews attended the 2017 Grits and Haggis Regatta on beautiful Lake Keowee, in the Blue Ridge foothills of South Carolina, on Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21.
But Keowee was not very beautiful for this year's event. From all accounts on Facebook, this weekend was a blast at the Upper Keys Sailing Club in Key Largo, FL, hosted by Jim and Cheryl Signor. This was the final event in the Florida Series for 2017.
