Thank you .. thank you .. thank you
- To the awesome work and volunteers from the Children's Hunger Project that support our community & braved the elements to share their message.
- To the members of the Indian River Yacht Club that shared their own time, expertise and assets running a great event.
- To John Cole of John Cole Photography spending the day on the water supporting participants and getting some great pictures (coming soon)
- And to the participants that travelled and invested in making this event a success.
It was awesome to see everyone & laugh & smile. Oh, the sailing on Saturday was great, too. Sunday sailing was cancelled due to a more uncertain weather window. The Friday night dinner at Grills was awesome. they did a great job accommodating the participants. There were 5 races and the sea breeze did not disappoint; when it really kicked in for race #4 & #5 it was breeze on. Dave & Caroline Chapin lead the way They were followed by the Marriots, the Piccos, the Taylors, the Bodt crew and the Briggs crew. Oh, and the donations - All I can say is, I am overwhelmed & very touched by the generosity of our Flying Scot community.
