The Janet Jones Lorber Trophy- Presented in 1949 by commodore Jones and was rededicated as a memorial to his daughter in 1981 is awarded annually to the best female skipper of the year. This year's recipient is Nancy Claypool. Nancy won the Flying Scot Women’s National Championship. She has served on SYC’s membership Development and Race Committees and also as Chair of Ladies on the Lake.
