Severe weather preceded and threatened the entire weekend, but the 2025 Grande Maumelle Sailing Club’s was a success. A Cajun feast Friday night and obligatory smoked Hawg (pork) dinner Saturday night insured fun regardless of the weather. In addition to the usual fleet boats, we were honored to have Barry and Tracy Hamrick from Atlanta travel to Little Rock to sail with us, sail to a nice second place at that! The winner of the Flying Scot fleet was Chet Hight (FS 5860) with crew Joe Falasco. Chet continues to amaze all while racking up trophies. Fleet 133 will next host the Labor Day Regatta at GMSC on 8/30-31.
