Flying Scot Fleet 36 and the Sarasota Sailing Squadron hosted the 2016 Jeff Penfield Memorial Regatta on 11/12-13. 2016.  This is the second leg in the 2016 Florida District Series.  Twenty teams sailed in the challenging light air but from all reports it was a great time - this exerpt is from Amy Smith Linton from the Flying Scot Florida District Facebook Page:  "Did I sum up last weekend at Sarasota? Good food, great friends, five races in lightish and variable, the return of Wild Horses with a new team, great friends, lots of wine....".  Jeff Linton and Amy Smith Linton were first with 5 bullets. David Ames and PJ Buhler were second and Ned Johnston and Monica Morgan were third.  Full results are here.
