The Massabesic Yacht Club in Manchester, New Hampshire, hosted their annual Regatta on September 19^th and 20^th. The regatta was open to Windmills, Lightnings and Flying Scots. The racers were graced with excellent wind speed of 7-12mph and gusts up to 18mph on Saturday. If you are a lake sailor you know wind shifts can be a challenge and on Saturday the shifts were greater than normal. All fleets completed 4 races on Saturday and many finishes had multiple boats coming across the line seconds apart. On Sunday the winds were heavy 14-20mph with gusts up to 30 and (of course) shifty.
