Gently used Flying Scot sails can be donated to the Foundation and will be refurbished and sent to sail training programs that use Flying Scot® sailboats to teach adult students. The Flying Scot Sailing Association’s newest district is Dixie Lakes–comprised of seven active and two less active fleets, and spread across the northern tiers of South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama, as well as on both sides of Tennessee. By “active” I mean that the fleet is in good standing with the FSSA and that it has enough energy to host an annual regatta to which off-lake Flying Scot sailors are invited. The Flying Scot Sailing Association website has gotten an upgrade.  The site has been using a web-based Content Management System for about a year.  The goals of the website redesign have been to make it easier to maintain, and easier to share news with our Flying Scot friends.  The new look reflects Scots n Water, our class magazine.
