We had a very special guest stop by this week!  Santa was looking for a way to unwind and we had just the thing.  Merry Christmas to all from the entire FSI crew!

While the northern folks are freezing and waiting for spring, there's plenty of racing going on in the south! Take a look at the results to date for the Florida District Series! The following date changes and additions are being made to the Florida District Series.

Upper Keys sailing Club event is moving to the weekend of May 20-21, 2023.

  • This change takes away any conflicts with Mother's Day and may ease availabilty associated with accomodations.

Space Coast Regatta is moving to the weekend following its scheduled date, now to be scheduled for April 22-23, 2023.

  • This change allows the Florida District to support to the Choo-Choo Regatta at PYC

Happy Thanksgiving to our Flying Scot family! We are so thankful for you!

The Fall 48 typically has cooler temps and bigger breeze.  Mother nature got the breeze right but not the temps!  We kicked off the regatta Friday evening with a chili cook-off.  Five LNYC members brought crockpots of chili and it was a great opportunity to taste a wide variety.  The big news on Friday was the finalization of the 2023 Flying Scot North American Championship to be held at LNYC the first week of June 2023.  The original planned site didn't work out, and Jim Leggette asked if LNYC would be willing to step up and run it.  The club will end up with 3 national events on the...
