There are 3 races in the books at the 2020 Wife-Husband at Carlyle Sailing Association in Illinois. There are 27 boats registered, with 20 in the Championship Division and 7 in the Challenger Division. With some chilly temps, it seems like there was plenty of wind with some gusts as well, After Day 1, The top 3 in the Championship Division are Mark and Michele Taylor from Clinton Lake, Robert and Nina Cummings from Corinthian in Dallas and Tom and Melissa Miller, also from Corinthian. The 2020 Wife-Husband Championship is ON at Lake Carlyle in Illinois on October 2-4, 2020. It's a beautiful venue with some really great people and lots of space to spread out. Great News! The ACC's have a new venue for 2020. Due to COVID-19 concerns the original venue was not able to host amd Greater Richmond Sailing Association has graciously agreed to host. FIshing Bay Yacht Club hosted their 81st One Design regatta on August 8-9, 2020. There were 17 Flying Scots and lots of other fleets registered and they had a couple of great days of racing although they could have used a little more win on Sunday.  On Satruday the winds were 10-15 and in Sunday 4-6.  It is reported that this is a good outcome for an August weekend on mid-Chesapeake Bay.  The club worked hard to make this happen, and in particular, Joe Nelson and Mike Karn stepped up to make sure that details were taken care of to make sure districts could happen in this COVID-19 year....
