Finals day 1 brought us beautiful sunshine around 80° with winds 15-20 from the WNW. Race 1 was challenging with lots of heavy gusts, several capsizes and a few teams retiring with the building wind. It was announced we would have a second race for Championship but not for Challenger. That was later revised to no second race. All 48 boats are checked in - Nice job Natalie and crew.  Everyone's measured in - thanks Brian and crew! Thanks Eric for the awesome organization! Can’t wait to race tomorrow!

A few people went out for practice racing, we went out to practice on our own. Beautiful ENE winds 10-12, sunny skies, waves about 2-3 feet. Dory finally came out from below deck to enjoy the wind.
