New England District winners Peter and James McAvoy! Thanks to Jack McGowan and Stone Horse Yacht Club for hosting. We had 5 awesome races in 15-17 MPH North Winds for the first few races then laying down to about 12. There was a yummy cookout with lots of fixings, it was mostly sunny and in the 70’s - just awesome! Full results here.

Twenty two boats registered for what turned out to be a wet and wild weekend for the 117th Ephraim Regatta. We hope all those that travelled to Ephraim for the weekend get home safely! Congrats to all the participants. Moriches Yacht Club in New York hosted the 2022 NERD with 17 boats on the line. Saturday came with big breeze 10-17 MPH and temps in the high 80's. Hopefully there were no shark sightings, although the movie Jaws was playing on a big screen on the lawn Saturday night! Sunday was about the same wind and temps so the teams, with some sailing 3 up, had a great workout The top 3 skippers were in their early 20's and gave the others a run for their money. Midwest District Championship: When competitors gathered at Delavan Lake, WI., last weekend (7/23-7/24/2022) for the FS Midwest District Championship, they experienced a season’s worth of weather in one weekend, great competitive racing, and meeting up again with old friends and new ones at the beautiful grounds of the hosts Delavan Lake Yacht Club. Day one began under sunny skies and near perfect conditions with winds at 8 to 11 mph.
