The Fleet of the Year award goes to the most active fleet in FSSA. This year’s honor goes to Fleet 175 at Westhampton Yacht Squadron, Dave Kisla Fleet Captain. Thanks for all you’ve done for our class and keep up the great work!

Two races today in 4-8 winds. a bunch of general recalls then the U flag for the Championship fleet. The challenger fleet was well behaved. We hoped to get in a third race but the wind died.

2024 NAC at Cedar Point Yacht Club - Day 1 racing - Regatta Chair John Cooke goes over the logistics and Brian Hayes from North Sails gives us the scoop on the weather and tactics. Dick Thackerberry holds the skippers meeting. Getting ready to sail! But… the wind is up, waiting to see if it is above guidelines. Postponed to 11:30, then postponed to 12:30.

The boats are coming, 51 of them, to Cedar Point Yacht Club in Westport,CT, for the 2024 NAC. Measurement continues tomorrow. The welcome party with the pizza truck is tomorrow night, then we get to sail on Monday. Monday night is the Annual Meeting, Tuesday is Lobster night (if you are so inclined), Wednesday is a free night, and Thursday are the awards. Good luck everyone.
