Severe weather preceded and threatened the entire weekend, but the 2025 Grande Maumelle Sailing Club’s was a success. A Cajun feast Friday night and obligatory smoked Hawg (pork) dinner Saturday night insured fun regardless of the weather. In addition to the usual fleet boats, we were honored to have Barry and Tracy Hamrick from Atlanta travel to Little Rock to sail with us, sail to a nice second place at that! The winner of the Flying Scot fleet was Chet Hight (FS 5860) with crew Joe Falasco. Chet continues to amaze all while racking up trophies...

Congratulations to Kate Gomes and Kailyn Reilly on winning the GRSA Memoria Day Regatta. Richard Baucom and Mackie Boblette took second and Keith Henderson and Logan broke a five way tie for third place. Chris Greatwood "shadow raced" the FS Fleet in his Laser.
