Stardate May 16, 2015 - Day 1 of Midwinters 2015. It is a beautiful day in the 80's and sunny, but the morning started with a spotty South wind.. The Postpone flag went up around 10:45 and we waited for the sea breeze. It did not disappoint us! About 1PM the RC sent us out and the sea breeze filled in nicely from the West 10-12 MPH. Continue Reading...The Midwinters warmup regatta was sailed today in perfect conditions on beautiful Saratoga Bay with 36 of the 54 boats registered for the Midwinters participating in today's event. With 80-degree temperatures and 12 MPH winds, 2 races were sailed with a Championship and Challenger Division. There was some confusion on the scoring, and as of now, pending final results, Tom McNally with crew Henry Pico won the Championship Division and Jim Leggette with crew Mike Funk won the Challenger. ...
