2022 FS Women’s NAC - So, during the second race yesterday, this team - leading the race at the time - lost its mainsheet block when a pin let go on them. But did Andi Hoffman, Melissa Miller and Tracy Hembrick panic? Maybe a little, but not for long! While Andi kept the helm and Melissa managed the other sails, Tracy used everything she had to help control the main! And the team kept going and finished 3rd in the race. And this is a time when it’s great to have a third on board. Meanwhile…the same thing happened to Linda Vitt and Rachel Bowling, who managed to finish the race and sail in - and Rachel never knew what happened. This is teamwork ladies!
