We just wrapped up the nationally sanctioned Women's NAC (WNAC) at Madison and what a BLAST that was (see articles posted below this one for details). Those cheeseheads sure know how to host a party (or two or three)....is that the proper usage of the term Cheesehead?...ANYWAY!

With the WNAC in our rearview mirror we are now looking forward to the ACCs in our backyard here in coastal NC. Join us August 26-27 at Blackbeard Sailing Club in New Bern, NC, for this sanctioned event. It's easy to register, simply go to the sidebar to the right of this post and you'll see the ACC listed in upcoming events. There is housing very nearby and the delightful, historic town of New Bern has some lovely restaurants and shops. Why not make it a long weekend? Flying Scot sailors Deb Aronson and Ben Williams have recently moved to the area (about 45 minutes away) and they can give you more details if you are interested. You can even come to Oriental, NC, the "Sailing Capital of NC" if you want to extend your visit!
