WIth more boats arriving today, registration and measurement continued, and SABYC was ready for action!  The registration team was very organized and got people through the line as quickly as they could, much appreciated by the participants.  Meanwhile, today's practice races were being held on the bay.  

We started out with 10-12 MPH winds on a beautiful sunny day, with about half the registered boats out there for the practice   Two windward leeward races were run, and as the sea breeze came in for the second race, the wind shifted about 40 degrees and came up tto over 15 MPH and we ended up with boats in clusters on the pin end of the starting line.  Those boats who started "late" or were not at the pin end ending up having the advantage over those who were ready for the start at the pin end!  A few boats came in and did not race the second race.

Zeke and Jay Horowitz won race 1, and Harry Carpenter with crew Tyler Andrews won the second race.  Full results for practice races are not available.
