Storage
Submitted by Honeybadger on Sat, 03/28/2015 - 20:53
I keep extra things (life jackets, cushion, spare parts etc) in a plastic tub. However, during windier days, the bin slides a lot and sometimes gets in the way. What ways have folks secured bins that sit on the floor?
Thanks

Storage
I glued two 5 foot strip of oak about 3/4 " wide and 3/8" thick to the floor directly below the edges of the seats.
The outboard edgesI left square; the inboard edges are rounded. For storage I bought Snapware plastic bins; which are 19.5"x15.5 "x11"high. They fit under the seats and stay in place due to the 90 degree angle between their bottoms and sides abutting the square outboard edges of the strips--and they are easy to slide in and out.
