Fifty two boats completed in this year's Sandy Douglass Memorial Regatta, while the factory celebrated 60 years. With 24 boats in the Gold Class, Zeke Horowitz and Cole Allsopp came away with first place. The Silver Class was won by Emily Meehan and Ashley Fulk, and the Masters Class was won by Ed Peters and Sue Chase.

Weather in Sandusky prevented the Women's Nationals. Corinthian Sailing Club in Dallas is interested in hosting a make up Regatta - CSC is prepared to host the Women's Nationals on September 16-17. Loaner boats could be provided, or bring your own. If crew is a problem, you can find crew ready, willing and able from our Club. What a difference between yesterday and today! With the Northeast wind blowing 12-14 and 2-3 foot waves, the RC went out to see what it looked like. They came back with a big thumbs up and we made our way out to the race course. The wind continued to moderate a bit during the races, but the waves stayed!
