The Monmouth Boat Club hosted the 2016 Flying Scot Atlantic Coast Championships and Greater New York District Championships on Sept 16-18th and provided a great event for all involved. The regatta was held in Sandy Hook Bay, NJ which provided for mile long legs. Sailing conditions were perfect with sun and winds of 15 to 20 knots on the first day and 8 to 15 on the second day. Continue Reading...We had another wonderful time at the 67th Annual Massapoag Yacht Club Regatta, with 57 boats participating. There were 16 Flying Scots - winners John and Connie Eckart (pictured here), 6 Day Sailers - winners Mike McCaffrey and Suzanne Boohar, 4 Comets - winners Talbott and Carol Lee Ingram, 9 RS Aeros - winner Marc Jacobi, and 22 Sunfish - winner Andy David!

Continue Reading...Fourteen hardy competitors braved Hermine’s stormy prospects to ultimately enjoy sunny skies, cool temperatures, and enough breeze to sail 5 races over our annual labor day weekend Scots on the Rocks regatta. Although Saturday’s racing was initially postponed for about 45 minutes of calm, a southerly breeze filled in nicely and the fleet was off at about 1:45 pm.
