At the Roger Punzi Memorial, 11 boats had the pleasure of 5 great races on 2 beautiful sunny days in new Fairfield, CT. RAce Committee Richard and Jenn Palmer and crew had to be patient on Saturday and flew the postpone flag for an hour or so. The first race was light air, but in the last leg, the wind picked up and held for the rest of the day. No wind on Sunday so no racing on Sunday. The best story of the regatta is that Hull #24, sailed by very new Scot sailors, got to the weather mark 1st in the second race.  There was no big wind shift  and no crazy course.  They had a good start, played the right side, and made out.  In the end the winners were John and Sharon Wake from Fishing Bay. Full results are...

Massabesic Yacht Club in Manchester, NH, hosted the 2021 New England Districts on 8/28/2021. It was a bit cloudy with highs in the 70's so we dresed in layers to be ready if it warmed up.  It warmed up a little but the clouds stayed.  With mostly easetrly winds 5-10 MPH, with Larry Christian as PRO, we had 5 great races, and could have done more with the conditions we had! There were 11 boats, 4 from Massapoag and 7 from Massabesic. In the end, the Massapoag teams took the top 4 spots with John and Connie Eckart winning the district championship and the SMSA trophies. Thanks so much to...
