Fleet #111 hosted the 2015 Scot a Hoochee Regatta on Lake Lanier in Flowery Branch, GA.  A drizzly rain came and went, but the wind stayed for both days, ranging from 10 to 20.  5 races were sailed on Saturday and 1 on Sunday.  The competition was close for the top spot, with Tony Milligan winning the regatta with a bullet in the last race.

One of the highlights was the trophies, handmade tote bags from an old main sail, made by one of our fleet member’s wife Indu Kowalski, pictured above with the Scot fleet.  Full Results are ...

Lots of Boats, Plenty of Wind by Deb Aronson

We had another wildly successful (if I do say so myself) Glow in the Dark this past weekend. With 26 boats registered, we beat our all time record by one boat, and everyone came ready to have a good time. The 2015 Flying Scot Atlantic Coast Championships were in New Bern, N.C. and was a great event. A nasty storm came through and cut things short but everyone was okay and it was still a success.  Here is a video from the event produced by NishFuts Productions - thanks to Joe Brake for sharing!
