What a difference between yesterday and today! With the Northeast wind blowing 12-14 and 2-3 foot waves, the RC went out to see what it looked like. They came back with a big thumbs up and we made our way out to the race course. The wind continued to moderate a bit during the races, but the waves stayed! After Steve Ouellette led the skippers' meeting at 9AM, there was little to no wind in the harbor, so we did not go out immediately.  Teams took advantage of the goodies that were put out for a continental breakfast, then made PBandJ or Fluffernutters to take out on the boat with them.  Teddie Peanut Butter donated the peanut butter and whatever is left over after the regatta will go to a local food bank...

Match Racing in a Flying Scot?   Why not?  the Neenah-Nodaway Yacht Club is sponsoring an 8 boat learn to match race regatta on August 25 and 26.  The first 8 boats to register will race, so check out our NOR and registration for at nnyc.org/racing.  Click on NOR/Registration and fill out the forms.

If we get more than 8 registrants, we will offer places on a waiting list in case of cancellations.
