Happy New Year Flying Scot Sailors! With the holidays now in our wake, it is time to start planning your regatta schedule. Since it looks like the world is returning to normal this is good time to pencil in the dates for our sanctioned regattas.

These events are:

• Midwinters: March 19 – 24, Ft. Walton Yacht Club, Fort Walton FL

• Women’s North American Championships: April 29 – May 1, Corinthian Sailing Club, Dallas TX

• North American Championships: July 9 – 14, North Cape Yacht Club, LaSalle MI

• Wife – Husband Championships: October 22 -23, Rush Creek Yacht Club, Heath TX

Our host clubs have laid the groundwork to insure everyone has a good time. Be watching the Flying Scot class website, fssa.com, for details. Class members watch your email for details. In fact, if you have not joined or renewed your class membership you can go to fssa.com to take care of that.

These regattas offer great sailing, good food and a chance to see old friends or make new ones. Whether this is your first national event, or you are a veteran now is good time to start making plans.
