2016 Cowan Lake Flying Pig Regatta

Saturday the wind was mostly out of the East and challenging, varying in strength and shifting directions We got two full races in, but had to finish the third race early due to near by lightning.
Saturday's dinner was enjoyed by all with music and dancing. The photos of the dancing will not be posted. What happens at a Cowan party, stays at the party….
Sunday morning the weather couldn't be better. The wind was out of the south-west, stronger and more consistent. Two more races were run, with smiles all around.
In the end, Harry and Karen Carpenter won the Hog Fleet (Champions), while Jen Stewart and Dave Hutten won the Oinkers Fleet (Challengers).
