Late breaking news! Fleet 158 Bombers fielded 6 boats for the Grits 'n Haggis regatta at Keowee Sailing Club on May 18/19. With one more boat, we would have matched the Keowee "home team" for attendance.
Great weather and awesome camaraderie. Sorry! No action pix. We were too busy sailing!

The Hawg Wild Regatta completed 5 races with 3 class of boats represented. The Flying Scot winner of the Hawg Wild regatta was Chet Hight, Skipper, and his crew Joe Falasco! The second place winners (from Birmingham/Atlanta area) were Barry Hambrick, Skipper, and his crew, Tracy Hambrick missing the lead by 1 point! Continue Reading...Hoover Sailing Club held its annual Buckeye Regatta May 18 and 19, with this regatta also serving as the Ohio District Championship. The event attracted 15 competitors, with 6 travelling to Hoover to participate in this early season event. Wind on Saturday was light, but our PRO and crew were able to get 4 races finished. Sunday morning there was no wind, so the event was declared finished. Bruce and Nathan Kitchen of Cowan Lake edged out Brian and Pamela Pace of Hoover for the Championship. Continue Reading...The 2023-2024 Florida Flying Scot District Circuit Champions are Mark and Michele Taylor. Congratulations on quite and accomplishment. This year, the Florida District Circuit ran from October 2023 to May 2024 with 7 Florida Clubs hosting: Coconut Grove, Sarasota, Rudder Club, Davis Island, Lake Eustis, Indian River, and Upper Keys Sailing Club.
