The Midwest District encompasses fleets in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Our active fleets are at Wilmette Harbor, Lake Carlyle, and Clinton Lake in Illinois, Lake Freeman in Indiana, Lake McBride in Iowa, Medicine Lake in Minnesota, and Ephraim, Madison, Neenah, Delevan Lake in Wisconsin and Capital City in Missouri.

Our District Governor is Jim Crabtree. The Midwest District is also home to FSSA Past President Bill Vogler.

The EYC’s annual Women's Regatta was sailed in Flying Scots on the evening of Tuesday, July 30, 2013 The winning team was Nancy Claypool, Annika Pearson and Carrie Berger with four straight bullets for 4 points. Second was Ally Dykman, Erica Heidler and Suzy Dykman, who prevailed in a tiebreaker with 12 points. The 108th consecutive annual Ephraim Regatta was a big success.  Despite light and lumpy sailing conditions, the race committee managed to complete two races on each day.  And everyone, racers and non-racers alike, had fun at Friday’s Regatta Welcome Party and Saturday’s Bratfest!
