The Midwest District encompasses fleets in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Our active fleets are at Wilmette Harbor, Lake Carlyle, and Clinton Lake in Illinois, Lake Freeman in Indiana, Lake McBride in Iowa, Medicine Lake in Minnesota, and Ephraim, Madison, Neenah, Delevan Lake in Wisconsin and Capital City in Missouri.
Our District Governor is Jim Crabtree. The Midwest District is also home to FSSA Past President Bill Vogler.

Delavan Lake Yacht Club hosted the Midwest Districts on August 12-14, 2016. While it seems like it was hot everywhere else in the country, it was actually a little cool in Wisconsin. Twenty-four boats participated from several fleets in the Midwest!

Things heated up this weekend at Carlyle Sailing Association with the Egyptian Cup Regatta. It was no surprise that the parking lot seemed to melt under your feet and the downwind runs reminded you of a rotisserie oven.
