The Midwest District encompasses fleets in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Our active fleets are at Wilmette Harbor, Lake Carlyle, and Clinton Lake in Illinois, Lake Freeman in Indiana, Lake McBride in Iowa, Medicine Lake in Minnesota, and Ephraim, Madison, Neenah, Delevan Lake in Wisconsin and Capital City in Missouri.

Our District Governor is Jim Crabtree. The Midwest District is also home to FSSA Past President Bill Vogler.

2024 Egyptian Cup Regatta Results by Bill Vogler, FS 6290 The Egyptian Cup Regatta was held June 15-16 at Carlyle Lake in Southern Illinois (site of the ’25 NAC’s) and results are now posted.  In a regatta that saw no wind or racing on Saturday the 15th saw good winds on Sunday (8-13 mph) the 16th resulting in 2 hotly contested races for the 22 registered Scots.  The conditions were a bit challenging due to particularly hot temperatures for the time of year...
