The Southwest District encompasses all of Texas, Arkansas, Colorado and Oklahoma.
Our active fleets in Texas are Corinthian Sailing Club in Dallas, Rush Creek Yacht Club in Heath, Lake Canyon Yacht Club in San Antonio and the Wichita Falls Club in Wichita Falls; Grande Maumelle Sailing Club in Roland, Arkansas, Colorado Sail & Yacht Club in Littleton, Colorado and Central Oklahoma Flying Scot Fleet in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Our District Governor is Paul Miller from Fleet 23 in Dallas.

It was a beautiful day on White Rock Lake, in the 90's, sunny with just not enough wind in te morning. The Race Committee n shore while we waited for the breeze to fill in - and it did. We headed out about 12:30 and races started shortly after we got out. We got in 3 great 4-leg Windward-Leeward races in 6-10 MPH easterly winds, and there was very little consistency in the results. A Non-Spinnaker Division has been added for Flying Scot Wife-Husband Championship in addition to the Championship and Challenger Divisions. The Notice Of Race has been amended to reflect this change. The amendment is available at the link below.

Corinthian Sailing Club in Dallas, TX, hosted a terrific makeup Women and Juniors NAC, with 2 great weather days, shifting conditions, great race management, and great Texas hospitality. By 11AM on Saturday, the boats were all rigged, skippers meetings were done and racing was on! There were two races on Saturday morning and one in the afternoon, then here were 2 more races on Sunday.... Read More
