In our profile it looks like we can put photos but I don t know how to upload them.
It would be a good idea to have pictures of various boats, repairs, useful tips, spotter’s corner ( like old collectible cars) . I am quite sure the traffic would be substantial.
I am thinking of my dad , 84 , still sailing his FS 894 ( ny tje way an extremely rare Tanzer boat ). He still would rce if there was a fleet ( there was once some 20 flying scots on LAc des Deux Montagnes, Québec, but now he is the only one left. So spotting and repairs pictures are more interesting than racw pictures.
I guess we are all kids and we never have enough pictures.

I read in the join/renew section these words :
You will also receive our official handbook, as well as a roster of all members of the FSSA.
I have not received it yet nor the official handbook.
I will wait a bit more.

québecAfter my comment I saw that a roster does exist and should be sent out. It is however still interesting to have a “spotted roster” . For example qe may know where number …… is , bad shape or not, and the owner is not a member of the FSSA.

I am new to the association and am trying to find a list of the active boats’ sail numbers.
Does that registry exist?I just can t find it on the site. It would be interesting to know how many of the thousands of boats built since 57 are still around and located.
There is also a list of “I know where there is a Scot just standing there and waiting to be revamped”.
That is what happened to mine: in a barn for 20-25 years. I was told about it by hearsay. Found it, fell in love with the old thing (maybe it was so sad looking) , bought it and ….you should see her now after her total makeover! She is indeed a Vamp.
Anyway my question: is there an paper or online registry of all the boats that are active and/or located?
