Membership Benefits Brochure We would love it if you jined us in becoming a member of the Flying Scot Sailing Association. There are so many reasons to be a part of this great organization, We belong to one of the most successful one design sailing organizations in the United States. We are a vibrant organization with over 1,000 boat memberships. Over 6,100 Flying Scots have been manufactured since 1957. New Flying Scots are being built and serviced every year by Flying Scot, Inc. of Deer Park, MD, FSSA conducts multiple nationally sanctioned regattas each year along with District and Regional Regattas. We promote sailing for women, juniors and couples with dedicated regattas for each. Racing is typically prominent at local clubs on weekdays and weekends – but don;t forget it is a great boat for cruising and sailing any time! “There are currently over 45 regional racing regattas hosted by local clubs throughout the U.S. during the typical sailing season.
