My first NAC was in 1996 at Oswego, NY, on Lake Ontario. I had been racing 3 weeks and had never been to a regatta. But after the incredible adventures we had there – ther people, my skipper/husband Greg fallling out of the boat, winning hte Fleet One trophy, I was hooked. I have been racing with Greg ever since! Flying SCot sailors are the best!
It was my second NAC. My first was in 1976 at Lake Norman. That was the which turned the normally August lake into a very windy venue.
