While racing the starboard jib track pulled up.
I looked underneath & it looks as if the only way to fix it may be to remove the foam?
Or is there another way?I had the exact same thing happen last year. I tried injecting epoxy into the holes and refastening the track with larger screws but it pulled out again. I ended up cutting a square out of the foam with a drywall saw, drilling through and then thru-bolting with stainless machine screws (4 ½” #10 I think) backed with washers, double hex nuts and lock-tite. Then I put the foam cut out back in with adhesive and the problem appears to be resolved.
