    Can anyone help me with how does a TacTic work. Does it tell you wind shift and therefore when to tack? If so, how does it tell you. Any overview with detail usage would be helpful.

    Go to the Tictack website and they have an interactive demo for the unit, which includes ‘you’ actually sailing upwind w/ and w/o a Micro unit and compares results.

    I found that a high quality pair of sunglasses (+$100) is more effective in anticipating wind direction.
