The Neenah-Nodaway Yacht Club will host this year’s Midwest District Clinigatta. This is a mix of coaching clinic, racing, and socialization. We’ll have several coaches that will be available to give chalk talks, discuss tuning, boathandling, sail trim, tactics, and strategy. Coaching will continue into the racing on Saturday and Sunday with observations and advice allowed before, during, and after races.
This event will be 2 weeks before the 121st annual Ephraim Regatta in Ephraim, WI, which is 2 hours north of Neenah. There may be opportunities to leave your boat in the area and pick it up on the way to Ephraim.
Format: chalk talk and training Friday, chalk talk and racing Saturday and Sunday: 18-minute twice-around races so we get in many starts, mark roundings, and finishes.
