NoR and SI Templates added to National Championships and Regatta Information & Documents page
Templates for Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions for various Flying Scot regattas have been added to the ‘Class Documents->National Championships and Regatta Information & Documents’ page. Scroll down to see the NoR templates followed by the SI templates. These templates must be used for all national regattas. Time to Renew Your FSSA Membership
FSSA is encouraging members to renew in January if you haven’t already. Be sure to sign up for auto-renew to simplify ongoing membership renewal. The 70th Anniversary of Flying Scot – 2027 will mark the 70th year of the Flying Scot. We want to have a great yearlong celebration for this momentous occasion. In preparation the FSSA board will be working in 2026 to plan and promote the Flying Scot Class. 2026 GRSA Frostbiting
The Greater Richmond Sailing Association Frostbite Series is only one month away. The first day of racing is scheduled for Sunday, February 8th and continues every other weekend thru March (intermittent Sundays are reserved for make-up days). This series is a great way to shake off your sailing cobwebs and winter blues. It’s also a great practice series to prepare for the upcoming Flying Scot Mid-Winters Regatta. The FSSA Executive Committee knows that the class has enjoyed the Scots n’ Water magazine for many years and we hope you enjoy it for years to come. Everyone will continue to receive the electronic version of the magazine as part of their annual dues. After analyzing the cost of producing, and then printing and mailing the hard copy, we realize that we can no longer offer the printed copy as part of your annual dues.
