Eckarts win 114th Ephraim Regatta
John and Connie Eckart from Massapoag Yacht Club in Sharon, MA, travelled to Ephraim, WI, on August 3-4 for their 114th Annual Regatta..After 4 races in light winds, they ended up first in a talented field of 29 teams, winning 3 of the 4 races and coming in 10 points ahead of their nearest competitor. Ben Williams and Deb Aronson from Clinton Lake Sailing Association in IL were 2nd and Mike and Jennifer Ikeda Faugust, local Ephraim sailors were third. COngratulations to all! Full results are here. 2019 New York Lakes Districts, Skaneateles Sailing Club, NY

2019 Sandy Douglas Memorial Regatta at Deep Creek, Maryland
The 2019 Sandy Douglass Memorial Regatta at Deep Creek is a wrap with two beautiful but challenging days of sailing. WIth Harry Carpenter, Tyler and Carrie ANdrews running races, Bruce and Lynn Kitchen were Gold Class winners in a tight fleet of 21 boats. Robert Gerlach & Anthony Celo won the SIlver Class, Charles & Sarah Buffington were Masters winners and Rose and Eric von Eckhartsberg were Challenger winners. Oh, and the monkey? He went to Robert and Nina Cummings who I am sure will add the Texas touch for next year! Full results are here Read more

2019 New England District Championship, Sandy Bay Yacht Club, Rockport, MA
Photos Courtesy of Skip Montello With 14 boats competing in the FS New England Districts, first place goes to Roger and Kate Sharp from Massapoag Yacht Club! Second was John and Connie Eckart from MYC. Third was David Corey and his niece Taylor Corey from Duxbury. MYC’s Gary Werden and Brandon Dickerman were fourth. The racing was great, getting in 5 races, on a sunny day in the 80’s with winds 13-16 and some gusts. Congratulations! Full results are here. Read more
