HISTORY OF THE FLYING SCOT compiled by Debbie Cycotte The Flying Scot is a time-tested design that is comfortable and safe as well as fast and great fun to sail. The Flying Scot is one of the few small boats which have been in steady production since 1957. The Flying Scot was inducted into the American Sailboat Hall of Fame in 1998.
