The forecast was not promising due to a neighboring low; however, the lightning stayed away with the breeze remaining for five exciting races.
Congratulations to David Ames & Lia Lara winning the regatta and Philippe Dusser & his team winning the Charlie Fowler Memorial trophy by being the highest finishing CGSC member Scot.
The next Florida District event is up in two short weeks at the Lake Eustis Sailing Club, followed by the Jeff Penfield Memorial Regatta in November at the Sarasote Sailing Squadron.
