2024 Midwinters at Lake Eustis – Day 1 racing
After one abandoned race and a few false starts with wind shifts, we got some good racing in today. We had 2 full 3-leg windward races under mostly cloudy skies and 8-0 mph breeze, maybe a little higher at times. Nice courses, lots of fun. 2024 Midwitners and 54th GWBR at Lake Eustis Sailing Club, FL – Check in Day
Boats are arriving and Dory is inspecting at Lake Eustis fSailing Club or the 2024 Midwotners and the 54th Annual George Washington Birthday Regatta – 81 boats registered! LESC has done a great job of getting us organized and making sure everyone has a spot for their boat, their car, their tent and/or their campters! Geri and Frank Meehan have been at the heart of Deep Creek Lake’s Flying Scot world for years. You could not go to Deep Creek without running into them.
