Is anyone using an electric trolling motor on a flying scot?   If so, couple quesitons:

    1. Recommended make & model

    2. Is it something that you detach and store inside boat til needed?

    3. Any comments or suggestions on range, ease of use, suitability is appreciated.

Take a look at this link from Flying Scot for mounting an electric motor on a scot.  https://flyingscot.com/product/new-style-motor-bracket-complete/

They sell Torqueedo although any electric motor would easily push an 880# Scot.

I would worry about rain water collecting and flooding a stored motor if for any reason the drain hole got clogged.
