Regatta Website: https://mycsailing.com/index.htmlPlease join us for our annual multi-class regatta (Flying Scots, Lightnings, Windmills, Finns) on beautiful Lake Massabesic – the drinking water reservoir for the City of Manchester, NH, and surrounding communities. The water and shoreline are pristine, with abundant wildlife, and many interesting coves and islands to explore. The Massabesic Yacht Club was formed in 1938, and has prided itself on this racing program ever since. Though rustic (modest facilities), the club is in a splendid location on the lake, and offers a very fine setting for sailing and socializing. Due to the lake’s size and restrictions (no swimming!), there is very little motorboat traffic – just your sailing buddies, paddlers, and the occasional bass boat keep the loons, cormorants, herons, eagles, and sea gulls company. Our One Design Regatta has been hosted at the MYC for many years, and always features good competition, fantastic camaraderie (even between fleets!). Our race committee for this event is carefully selected so that the quality of racing is optimized for all participants. Great sailing, on clean water, in a beautiful setting, with wonderful friends, new and old. What’s not to like???
