I painted the inside of ol'177 because she was really sad looking. I cleaned the innner hull very well with plenty of soap and norwegian steam. She had been previously painted by the prior owner ( many moons ago I figured)so all loose paint had to be scraped and sanded lightly with a handheld wire brush and 80 grit touch of 5" sander. More cleaning followed. Solvent wipedown. Finally,I taped off the areas to be painted( did not paint entire inner surfaces) I applied two coats of Interlux primer. Then two coats of Interlux Brightside topcoat(kingston grey). It looked great and has held up very well for 2.5 yrs so far. Tough paint. Git r done.[:D]

I have been thinking about this too.

I have been thinking about this too. I saw some grey speckle spray paint in Home depot but have not tried it. Gabor
