Owning a Flying Scot has many advantages, one being an opportunity to join the Flying Scot Sailing Association (FSSA).
The FSSA is one of the strongest one-design class associations in the world. Our strict adherence to the one design concept means that the Flying Scot built this year will remain compatible and competitive for years to come with newer as well as older boats. Owners of Flying Scots are assured that their boats will last for years, and its re-sale value will remain excellent. Also, the FSSA helps promote the Flying Scot which maintains the boats popularity and value.
Belonging to FSSA, you will receive our official publication, Scots n' Water, six times a year.
You will also receive our official handbook, as well as a roster of all members of the FSSA.
Belonging to FSSA makes you eligible to compete in district, regional, and national regattas.
The FSSA also offers members a discounted price for the newest revision of "Highlights of Scots n Water." This book is chock full of valuable information about the Flying Scot, its history, its riggings, its sailing, and its safety.
As a member of the FSSA, we encourage you to join a Flying Scot fleet. This is the best way to get involved with other Scot sailors, to have the best sailing experiences, and simply to have fun in sailing.
We look forward toward receiving your FSSA membership application.
