I have an old 1955 Douglass Flying Scot #243. I have the old style winch on the mast.

The jib pawl and the main pawl are not holding when locked against the winch spools.

I am looking to see if anyone has re-built one of these winches.

Any informatiion would be quite helpful.

Thanks

Rufus

I have found a way to deal with the replacing of the jib and main winch pawls.

I have this information in photographic form for anyone that needs to address this same chore.
