New Pass Grill and Bait Shop 1505 John Ringling Parkway, Sarasota, FL‎ - (941) 388-3050. At the foot of the drawbridge, New Pass is a must stop. You can get greasy cheeseburgers, onion rings, and cold beer by car, foot, or boat! Just be sure you stay and eat it at one of the picnic tables by the water under the palm tree. 
Drydock Waterfront Grill 412 Gulf of Mexico Drive, Longboat Key, FL 34228-4010‎ - (941) 383-0102. 5 minutes from the club. Sit indoors or out. It’s the best place for the non sailors to sit and enjoy a view of the racing area while eating.
St Armands Circle, Lido Key    This vacation central is home to a number of fine restaurants including Tommy Bahama as well as a number of premium shopping options.  UPDATE. Rooftop Daiquiri  and raw bar is under construction and should be open in time for the regatta

Phillippi Creek Oyster Bar      5353 South Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL‎ - (941) 925-4444.   The oysters and beers here have been thoroughly tested and approved by your favorite class builder and Midwestern sail maker. 
Star Fish Co 12306 46th Avenue West, Cortez, FL‎ - (941) 794-1243‎.   Like a place time forgot, this fish market has a restaurant on the back deck. You can eat your fish on newspaper atop one of the picnic tables as the workers unload the catch of the day. Flip flops preferred!
